After School Programs
The goal of the Shake Rag Alley Youth Enrichment Program is to help children develop their creativity in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. These classes encourage children to develop new talents, confidence, and self-esteem, while exploring a broad spectrum of the arts and humanities. As they go through this process in a historic and natural setting, they also learn about themselves, their value to the community, and their place in the natural world.

April/May After School Classes-Filled

Due to the positive response for the FREE after school classes, we do not have any openings available for the April/May Arts & Crafts session. We gave priority to those who wanted to be in the last session but were on a waiting list. We are sorry, but hope you will take advantage of our wide range of summer classes.

Preschool Events

Preschoolers are welcome to come with their parent/guardian.

REGISTRATION: If your child is interested in taking any classes, all you need to do is call Diane Sterba at 987-3292 or email her at: dianesterba@shakeragalley.com.

COST: ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
For the rest of this school year all the Shake Rag Alley after school classes will be free. Preschool events will be the usual $5.

AFTER SCHOOL TIME: The activities start at 3:30 in the Ellery House, but students are welcome to come right after school. Classes end at 4:45.

CARPOOLING: If you would like your child to attend a class but are unable to drive them here, please call and we will see if we can connect you with another parent for carpooling.
