Shake Rag offers a full compliment of workshops and classes in the traditional fine arts – drawing, painting (oil, acrylic, or watercolor), colored pencil, pastel, and a variety of printing techniques from leaf printing to woodcuts to silk screening, even fish printing! You can study encaustic, cold wax medium with oil, learn how to design with photographic references, learn figure drawing or plein air painting techniques. We draw from a talented pool of local and Midwest instructors with years of experience including Bonnie Cutts, Kay Brathol-Hostvet, Jeb Prazak, Rita Yanny, Rhonda Nass, and Rebecca Crowell among others.
